The local radio station for Crewe and Nantwich
Powered by Volunteers
The Cat broadcasts on digital radio, on FM and online, 24 hours a day. We are always on the lookout for volunteers with a passion for the local community.
We have an ever-growing team of over 50 volunteers who work together to produce a fully functioning, local community radio station for the people of Crewe, Nantwich, and the surrounding areas.
Opportunities at The Cat range from presenting, helping out behind the scenes, and supporting local events. It’s a great way to learn new skills and develop confidence. Whether it’s for an hour a week or a few hours per day, it’s a great way to indulge in what you love.
Some of our team have worked for the biggest radio brands in the country, from commercial through to national stations. Others bring their own skill set from outside of the radio industry, having never set foot inside a studio before they join us.
